Storybird is an interactive activity and learning tool for people of all ages. Teachers and librarians especially like it because it offers opportunities for children to explore their reading and writing skills and utilizes their imaginations. It is one of many fabulous websites devoted to digital storytelling. Anyone is able to submit artwork to Storybird, as well, which reaches into another realm of creativity. Plus, sign-up is free! We librarians like "free." :)
Hint: creating accounts for students is not only free, but it's easy. And your students don't even have to have an email to get an account. Sign up one student or upload your entire class list!
